Timothy Wesco, the Republican candidate for State Representative in District 21, secured another powerful endorsement this week. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund endorsed Wesco because he is a “pro Second Amendment/pro-hunting candidate who supports gun owners and sportsmen,” according to Ashley Varner, the Indiana State Liaison for the NRA Institute for Legislative Action.
The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is the NRA's political action committee. The NRA-PVF ranks political candidates - irrespective of party affiliation - based on voting records, public statements and their responses to an NRA-PVF questionnaire.
Wesco said that he’s “thrilled to receive the backing of the most powerful voice in support of the 2nd Amendment in the country. I’m grateful that the NRA stands strong in the support of our Constitution and the Founders’ vision of a free America. I look forward to working with them to advance the interests of Indiana’s law-abiding gun owners."
